Each Classic Two Piece Wall Moulding Kit includes one tall upper moulding and one coordinating lower moulding, handcrafted from real wood and fully assembled by our finish carpenters. 

Use one kit to add architectural character to a narrower wall or combine several to create a beautifully balanced layout across a living room, dining room, bedroom, entryway, office, or feature wall.

A Note About This Sale Listing 

12” DIY/Primed 

The 12” DIY/Primed mouldings have a lighter coat of primer than our current DIY/Primed finish. 

The real wood profile and craftsmanship are the same as the mouldings found throughout our website. The lighter primer coat may require additional priming or preparation before painting, depending on your desired finish. 

These kits include active pre-applied adhesive and can be installed using our standard self-adhering method. 

24” Stain Grade Premium Poplar 

The 24” Stain Grade Poplar mouldings are discounted because the pre-applied adhesive is past its recommended use period. 

The mouldings themselves are the same premium real wood profiles used throughout the Luxe Architectural® collection. However, this option is intended for permanent, caulk-in-place installation rather than installation using the adhesive alone. 

The Stain Grade Poplar arrives unfinished and ready to stain, prime and paint, or finish with milk paint. 

Because Luxe Architectural® moulding profiles are consistent across our collections, clearance and regularly priced kits can be mixed, matched, reordered, or used together to expand an existing layout. 

If the size or finish you need is unavailable, that option has sold out in our clearance inventory.

Why the Classic Two Piece Proportions Work 

The Classic Two Piece Wall Moulding Kit pairs a taller upper moulding with a shorter lower moulding for a balanced, traditional look. 

The layout adds architectural structure without overwhelming the room and works beautifully as a single accent or repeated across a longer wall.

Because the pre-applied adhesive has expired, this option must be installed permanently by caulking around all edges.

The mouldings can be installed on smooth walls and walls with light-to-medium texture. On textured walls, careful caulking around the entire perimeter is especially important.

Poplar has long been valued by woodworkers and finish carpenters for its versatility, workability, and ability to take on a beautifully custom finish. 

It gives you the freedom to create a look that feels completely at home in your space—whether that means a rich stained finish, a soft milk-painted look, or a clean painted finish. 

Our Stain Grade Poplar: 

Because Poplar is a natural hardwood, the color and tone will vary from piece to piece. These variations are part of the warmth and character of real wood. 

For the easiest and most even result, we recommend staining or finishing the mouldings before installation.
