Transform a flat panel door with the classic look of a six-panel design—without cutting individual moulding lengths, measuring miters, or assembling frames.
Each Six Piece Door Moulding Kit is handcrafted from real wood and fully assembled by our finish carpenters. The layout includes two smaller upper mouldings and four taller middle and lower mouldings, creating the balanced proportions of a traditional six-panel door.
The only reason these kits are discounted is that the pre-applied adhesive has expired.
Install the mouldings permanently with caulk, and you will receive the same real wood profile, craftsmanship, and architectural character found throughout the Luxe Architectural® collection—at a considerably lower price.
The pre-applied adhesive on the back of these mouldings is past its recommended use period. For this reason, these clearance kits are intended for permanent, caulk-in-place installation rather than installation using the adhesive alone.
The mouldings themselves are the same real wood profiles used throughout our website. They arrive fully assembled, factory-primed, and ready for final preparation and paint.
To install, position the mouldings using the included instructions and worksheet, then caulk around all edges to secure them and create a seamless, built-in appearance.
Because Luxe Architectural® profiles are consistent across our collections, sale and regularly priced kits can be mixed, matched, reordered, or used together on additional doors.

The Six Piece Door Moulding Kit was designed to give a plain, flat panel door the proportion and character of classic raised-panel millwork.
Two smaller upper mouldings add detail at eye level, while four taller mouldings create a beautifully balanced middle and lower layout.
The result is a more architectural, custom-looking door—without replacing the door itself.

Our DIY/Primed mouldings are professionally made in the USA from domestically grown, milled, and factory-primed Pine.
The mitered corners are glued and secured from the back with V-nails, so there are no visible nail holes to patch. Each assembled moulding is hand-sanded to prepare it for finishing.
Because this is our DIY finish, minor natural imperfections in the wood may require light patching or sanding. Some hand-sanded areas may also need touch-up primer before painting.
For an easier finish, a quality paint-and-primer-in-one may be used where appropriate.
Each Six Piece Door Moulding Kit includes six fully assembled mouldings:

To install:
Remove the door from its hinges, if preferred, and place it on a stable work surface.
Measure and mark the door using the included instructions and worksheet.
Position each fully assembled moulding on the door.
Caulk around all edges to secure the mouldings and create a seamless, built-in appearance.
Allow the caulk to cure according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Complete any minor patching, priming, and painting needed for your desired finish.

The 11” kit will leave a slightly wider border around the mouldings. The 12” kit creates a fuller look with narrower spacing at the sides.
Door hardware is not always installed in the same position, particularly on older or exterior doors.
Before ordering, measure from the edge of the door to the center of the knob or lever. This measurement is typically approximately 2⅜”.
If the measurement exceeds 2⅜”, consider ordering one size smaller to help prevent the moulding from interfering with the door hardware.
We also recommend checking the location of any deadbolts, decorative plates, mail slots, or other hardware before selecting your kit size.
