Each Wainscotting Wall Moulding Kit is handcrafted from real wood and fully assembled by our finish carpenters. The classic lower-wall proportions add structure, character, and a beautifully finished look to dining rooms, entryways, hallways, bedrooms, offices, and living spaces.
These clearance mouldings have the same profile and craftsmanship as our current DIY/Primed kits. They are offered at a special price because the primer coat is lighter than the finish used on our newer DIY/Primed mouldings.
These clearance kits are available in DIY/Primed only.
The mouldings have a lighter factory-applied primer coat than our current DIY/Primed finish. Depending on your desired result, they may require additional priming or light preparation before painting.
The profile itself is the same as the mouldings used throughout the Luxe Architectural® collection, so clearance and regularly priced kits can be mixed, matched, reordered, or used together to extend an existing layout.
The mouldings arrive fully assembled with active pre-applied adhesive and can be installed using our standard self-adhering method.

Our DIY/Primed mouldings are professionally made in the USA from factory-primed real wood.
Each moulding frame is fully assembled before it leaves our California facility, eliminating the most time-consuming parts of a traditional wall moulding project.
Because this is our DIY finish, minor natural imperfections in the wood may require light patching or sanding. Some hand-sanded areas may also need touch-up primer before painting.
The primer coat on these clearance kits is lighter than the coat used on our current DIY/Primed mouldings. For the most consistent painted finish, we recommend inspecting each piece and applying additional primer where needed.
A quality paint-and-primer-in-one may also be used where appropriate.
Each Wainscotting Wall Moulding Kit includes fully assembled real wood moulding frames in the selected size and quantity.

We complete the detailed carpentry work before the mouldings arrive at your door.
These clearance DIY/Primed kits include active pre-applied adhesive and can be installed using our standard self-adhering method.
To install:
Prepare the mouldings for paint, applying additional primer where needed.
Clean the wall to remove dust, grease, and debris, then allow it to dry completely.
Measure and mark the wall using the included instructions and worksheet.
Remove the protective liner from the pre-applied adhesive.
Position and press each fully assembled moulding onto the wall.
For a permanent, seamless finish, caulk around all edges.
Paint the mouldings and wall in your desired color.
The mouldings can be installed on smooth walls and walls with light-to-medium texture.
For textured walls, caulking carefully around the full perimeter is especially important for a secure, finished installation.
