Speaking of pumpkin, my all time favorite fall candle smells like the best pumpkin pie you've ever had! This year, Illume® Candles, has made it available in a cute, white ceramic pumpkin shaped dish with a rose gold lid. Available at Crate and Barrel. $24.00
My sister told me about these mulling spices from Williams Sonoma years ago, and they are amazing! They can be simmered in apple cider or red wine for a yummy, warm drink or simmer in water on the stovetop before company comes over to add the most intoxicating, cozy aroma to welcome your guests into your home. Also, makes a great hostess gift! Williams Sonoma $13.95
Speaking of warm drinks, last year when I was on the hunt for a new teapot, I happened upon this German glass water kettle. I instantly loved the clean, modern look. The price point is terrific too! Available from Goop for $35.00
My husband and I love these moon lamps so much, we have two! A small one in our bedroom and a large one in our hallway. Both functional and decorative, it provides the perfect, soft glow to a room. The brightness is adjustable with a small touch sensor on the bottom. Chargeable via USB. Available from Amazon.com, starting at $17.49
My next pick might seem like I’m getting ahead of myself, but when the rain hits in a couple of months, and Costco is sold out, you’ll be glad you picked these up! I had been eyeing these Hunter boots for a while, so when I saw them last year at Costco in high-gloss black; I couldn’t believe it! We had an unbelievable amount of heavy rain and mudslides last year, and these boots made me feel indestructible! The Costco near me has them for $89.99, and they're also available at Costco.com in matte black and matte hunter green.
As the days and nights start getting chillier, I’ll be pulling out my trusty Banana Republic Water-Resistant Classic Trench Coat. It’s so versatile and goes great with flats, heals and black Hunter boots! It's a classic! Rainy season, I’m ready for you! 😉 Currently on sale at BananaRepublic.com for $157.00 and it’s selling out fast.
I’m always on the lookout for easy, healthy, weeknight meals. Sometimes, it’s so easy to get in a rut. If you’re looking for healthy comfort food, but want to spice it up a bit, I think you’ll like this recipe! In our house, we call it Indian Chili, but the correct name is Kheema. We found this recipe years ago watching Aarti Sequeira on Food Network, and it’s been one of my go-to recipes ever since. I recently substituted the ground beef for ground Bison that I got from Costco, and it was terrific! I hope you enjoy this dish as much as we do!
As my gift to you, through the end of October, orders over $300 will receive a complimentary jar of Williams Sonoma Mulling Spices; use code WSMullingSpices at checkout!
Enjoy this beautiful season!
