Get the custom, high-end, raised panel look quickly and easily with our patent-pending, self-adhering Brooklyn Door Moulding Kit. Our wood frames arrive fully assembled, with our special adhesive pre-applied on the back.

Please note: This style works best with doors that have a doorknob, due to the moulding profile.

A Note About This Sale Listing

These kits feature a discontinued finish that has since been replaced. The primer on these kits is thinner than our current standard, and some hand-sanded areas may require minor touch-up before painting.

Finish Options

Finished/Primed (24" only):
Professionally made in the USA from factory-primed finger-joint pine. Miters are glued and nailed, minor imperfections and nail holes are patched, and the frame is lightly sanded. Our adhesive is pre-applied on the back.

Because this is a discontinued finish run, these kits may show some discoloration, scratching, or thinner primer coverage than our current standard. A coat of paint easily covers this.

DIY/Primed (18" only):
Professionally made in the USA from finger-joint pine that has been factory-primed by the milling company. Miters are glued and nailed, and our adhesive is pre-applied on the back.

These kits require minor patching and sanding of small imperfections and pin-nail holes at the miters. Touch-up primer will be needed at some hand-sanded areas — or, for a faster finish, use a two-in-one primer and paint.

Installation

All you have to do is:

1. Measure and mark your door using the included instructions and worksheet
2. Remove the protective backing from the adhesive
3. Attach to your door
4. Caulk around all edges for a permanent, seamless finish

There's no noise, power tools, gluing, nails, or nail holes to patch and sand — we've done the work for you. Simply paint your desired color once installed.

28" x 80" door:
18" Door Moulding Kit — includes (1) 20" x 44" top moulding and (1) 20" x 22" bottom moulding

32" x 80" door:
24" Door Moulding Kit — includes (1) 24" x 44" top moulding and (1) 24" x 22" bottom moulding

A note on hardware placement: In rare cases, especially with older exterior doors, the doorknob is not installed in a standard location. Measure from the edge of your door to the center of the knob — this measurement is typically around 2 3/8". If your measurement exceeds 2 3/8", you may need to order one size down so the moulding does not interfere with your hardware.

Miters are glued and underpinned using V-Nails, which means no visible nail holes or patching! The entire frame is hand sanded for a smooth finish and our special adhesive is pre-applied on the back, eliminating the need for nails or glue! DIY Moulding Kits may require minor patching/sanding of small imperfections in the wood. Touch-up primer may be needed at some hand-sanded areas - OR - easier yet, use a "two-in-one" primer and paint.

*STAIN GRADE/PRIMER READY – PREMIUM POPLAR: For those who prefer a premium hardwood moulding that's great for paint or medium to dark stain! Our pre-assembled, stain grade moulding kits are professionally made in the USA from premium clear Poplar hardwood that has been domestically grown and milled in California. Miters are glued and underpinned using V-Nails, which means no visible nail holes or patching! Imperfections in the wood, if any, are patched, the entire frame is lightly hand sanded, and our special adhesive is pre-applied on the back, eliminating the need for nails or glue! Premium clear Poplar hardwood is not only beautiful, it's also renewable and environmentally friendly!

FINISHED/PRIMED: Our primed kits are ready for installation! Professionally made in the USA from premium quality wood moulding, the miters are glued and underpinned using V-Nails, which means no visible nail holes or patching! All of our finished/primed products are factory-coated with a thick, durable primer, miters are filled, imperfections in the wood, if any, are patched, and the entire frame is lightly hand-sanded, ready for your choice of paint. As a final touch, our special adhesive is pre-applied for you, eliminating any need for nails or glue!

Shipping

Orders ship from our facility within 1 – 3 business days via FedEx Ground. Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout. Door moulding kits are 19.99 for the first kit and 9.99 for each kit thereafter. Shipping rates for wall moulding kits vary by size and quantity ordered.

Returns

We want you to be happy! Luxe Architectural standard size moulding kits can be returned/exchanged within fourteen days of receipt, as long as they are in their original condition and not previously installed.

Custom sizes are not eligible for return / refunds.
